My oldest child is graduating high school this wee

My oldest child is graduating high school this week! I’m entering a phase of life where my kids are more independent. They’re starting to leave the nest. They’re learning to be more self-sufficient and need me less.

Those toddler and early elementary years were tiring! Physically exhausting wiping bums, cleaning up messes, wrestling through homework, drawn out bedtime routines. I was always wishing for more sleep.

But this new phase is causing me to pause and make more time for me. I feel like I have more control of what I want. What I need.

I’m making more time for exercise. I’m making more time for learning. I’m making more time for self development. I’m making more time for skin care and makeup.

As I approach my 40s, I’m embracing me time. I’m reinventing who I am and what I want. I want to be a wife that is happy. I want to be a mom that has energy. I want to be a sister that is thoughtful. I want to be a friend that is generous. I want to be a woman that is confident.

I can’t erase the weaknesses of my past. But I can go forward with strength and determination to be and do better.

So as my son prepares to spread his wings and fly, I’m preparing to work more on me. When I feel good, I can do good.

Is the Olaplex hair system worth it??

I’ve been on the hunt for haircare that actually works! I’ve been searching for something that truly cleans my hair, tames the frizz, repairs the damage, and protects it from heat. Is that too much to ask??? 😉

Well, I think I found it! Here’s what I used:

No. 0- spray and leave in for 10 minutes

No. 3- add onto No. 0 and leave in for 10 minutes

No. 4- shampoo

No. 5- conditioner

No. 6 & No. 7- use together to protect and tame for styling

It seems like a lot of steps. But they’re all necessary to have clean & healthy hair! I think this system is worth the money and the time!
