Have you ever felt frustrated with applying eyesha

Have you ever felt frustrated with applying eyeshadow on your hooded eyes?? With a few tricks, you can apply eyeshadow confidently so you look your best!

Start with applying a medium brown in & above your crease with your eye open

Then add a dark color on the outer corner of your eye

Apply a light to medium shade on your eyelid

Finish it off with a light shimmer under your brow and inner corner of your eye.

These tips will help your eyes look bigger and more open.

Makeover Monday! Meet Allie. @allieirenehansen i

Makeover Monday!

Meet Allie. @allieirenehansen is a teen in my town that was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in 2016 when she was just 9 years old.

You would have no idea looking at her today that she had once battled for her life! She is such a strong and beautiful person on the inside and out!

Since September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, I thought it would be the perfect time to tell her story. Tell her story of victory. Tell her story of positivity. Tell her story of change and influence.

Allie fought with cancer for 2 1/2 years of her life. And during that time she created the non-profit organization called Allie’s Angels Foundation. During a time that was the worst in her life, she decided to give back. She decided to look outside herself so she could help and lift others. That is true beauty!!

Allie’s Angels Foundation continues to raise funds and support local children that are also going through the worst times of their life. Each year, they choose a child to support and lift up in their medical journey.

Most teens are oblivious to others and spend their time glued to their devices. Not Allie. Allie has her eye on growth and progress and helping others reach their potential. This last year, she launched her podcast “Overcome and Become” where she shares her story and encourages youth and others to thrive.

Allie is a true hero. She is a true beauty. She is someone that we can all become inspired by and learn from.

For this makeover, she wanted a natural look so we just enhanced her natural beauty! I evened out her skin tone, added a little contour, added a little glow & flush, and had fun with her eyeshadow. The pinks made her green eyes sparkle!
