Maskcara Artist Kit: Your Questions Answered

Your first step is to sign up as a Maskcara Artist and purchase your kit. Jumping in and doing something new and different can be scary, but we’ve got you! First Step

Once you’ve decided to join the Maskcara crew, you need to pick a team! Signing up under another artist will give you the support, training, and encouragement that you need to help build your brand. After you find someone to sign up under, you need to pick your kit. You have 2 options: a Basic Kit of a Pro Kit. We’ll tell you all about each one so you know what will work best for you!

Basic Kit

The Basic Kit is $199. It is a retail value of $500! In this kit, you will get:

• 18 IIID Foundation Singles (a collection of random highlights, contours, lip & cheeks, and illuminators)
• 1 Powder Single (either the Vanilla Dust Setting Powder or Cayman Bronzer)
• 2 Makeup Brushes (usually the 30 Second HAC Brush or the Detail HAC Brush and another random one)
• 1 Perfector Sponge
• 3 Compacts
• 25 Catalogs
• 25 Host Brochures
• 25 Opportunity Brochures
• 25 Post Cards

Pro Kit

The Pro Kit is $399. It’s a value of $850!! This kit includes:

Which kit should you get?

This is totally up to you, your budget, and your business goals. If you have a limited budget, then it’s best to get the Basic Kit and get right to work! If you set up a party right away in your back office, you can start earning rewards to get product for free. Don’t know what we mean? No worries! Our team provides training on all of this to walk you through the process.

If you are in it to win it and want to really make this work, then we suggest the Pro Kit. It’s so great to have as much of the product at first so you can start practicing on women. Women come in all different beautiful shades and it’s important to have the right products to help them feel beautiful.

Why do you need a kit?

You need to buy a kit so you have the highlights, contours, lip & cheek colors, and illuminators to share with your friends and family. People love seeing things in person. So, having a kit with some of the popular shades and products will help you become familiar with the products as well as try them out on your customers.

How long does it take to get your kit?

It usually takes 5-10 business days to receive your kit. You will be checking your doorstep daily once you click purchase!

What should you do once you get your kit?

Once your kit is delivered, have fun! Do a Live on Facebook of you opening it up. Announce to your friends and family what your new business venture is so they can support you. And practice! Ask your friends and family to let you borrow their faces so you can get comfortable with the products and makeup techniques.

Why do you need marketing tools?

Your kit includes catalogs, brochures, and post cards to help you educate your customers. These can be used at in-home parties, events, or one on one makeovers. They’re a great tool to help share what you love!

How to sign Up

First, go to maskcarabeauty.com or click here. Then you click “BECOME AN ARTIST”. Or you can also visit our website and click “JOIN OUR TEAM”.

Next, if you are prompted to search for an Artist, type in “185629” into the ID# or click the “Enroll under JoEllen Woods” to ensure you’ll be on our awesome team!

Next you will be prompted to choose which Artist Kit you want. We suggest the PRO ARTIST KIT because you get more bang for your buck and also have that much more of a foundation to build your business on. But, if that isn’t in your budget…no worries! The BASIC KIT has everything in it that can get you started on the Maskcara journey and you can build on your kit as you go.

Fill out your personal details and credit card info and you are on your way to become a Maskcara Artist! It’s easy peasy. Once you have purchased your kit, it will take about 1-2 weeks to arrive. We  will be in contact right away to get you started on your training. After you get your kit, you can start playing around with the colors, sharing it with friends and family, and building your business!

Once you purchase your kit (either $199 or $399), the only fee you have to pay is a monthly $11.95 fee to cover your website costs. This makes it so convenient for your customers to order whenever they want! It’s definitely worth the convenience.

Confidence Booster Before and After

Meet Mandy. She’s a good friend of mine. She has the best laugh. She has a kind heart. Her eyes sparkle and smile right back at you. She doesn’t usually wear much makeup, other than mascara on her lashes. So when I asked her if I could practice on her, she was excited to give it a go. And once she looked in the mirror when we were done, she had the biggest smile on her face! This was the best confidence booster before and after and you could tell that she was beaming on the inside and out!

After determining that she has a cool skin tone and color matching her to figure out her highlight foundation color, we got to work! I applied her highlight under her eyes, on her nose, under her nose, on her chin, and on her forehead. The light layer of Amber highlight helped even out her skin tone and take away the redness in some spots. Then I applied Ash contour to her cheek bones, jawline, and hairline. It brought out her beautiful cheekbones! Mandy didn’t want bright pink cheeks, so we settled for a neutral look with Desert Sunset on the apples of her cheeks. I added Pearl Illuminator to the tops of her cheekbones to give them a nice glow.

She’s not a fan of heavy eye makeup so I used very light and neutral colors. The colors gave her eyes a little bit of brightness. Then I filled in her brows with Oak eyeshadow. It helped frame her face and give more definition to her eyebrows. We topped the look off with Desert Sunset as her lip color for a nice and natural look.

Even though we didn’t layer lots of makeup on Mandy, she still felt beautiful. She could look in the mirror and see her good features and enhanced natural beauty. She looked as beautiful as she felt. Her confidence was boosted and her self worth was increased. And it felt so good to see her so happy and confident!
