How to Fill a Compact

 

Now that you (hopefully) have your custom Maskcara foundation colors chosen, let me give you a run down on how to fill a compact!

Colors

Once you have your 4 foundation colors & compact at the ready, let’s fill that bad boy up and put it to good use! The great thing about these cute little tins of color is that you can easily slide off the metal lid and use at a later time…don’t worry, I’ll teach you all about their use in a minute. All Maskcara makeup color products (foundations, powders, and eyeshadows) are made in metal rectangles that allow for the magnetized compact to keep them safe and sound in their resting place.

Filling Your Compact

To fill your custom compact, you take one color at a time and remove its lid. Just simply plop that rectangle into the place you want it to reside and it will hold in place until you choose to move it. Continue to take your colors one by one, removing their lids, and placing them into their new home. Once in the compact, you can slide them around. But if you need to remove and change up its designated place, I’ll show you how!

 

 

Removing

If you want to switch the order of your colors up or want to replace a color that has run out or you need to take out a color for any reason, you can easily remove & rearrange. Simply take a lid and use the flat part to squeeze in between and pry out the color. It will pop right out and you are now free to reorganize your colors! It’s so easy!

Gone are the days of having to wait for your entire palette to be complete until you replace the used colors. You can easily swap as needed and carry on like it’s no big deal.
