Before starting to use a new product in your skincare lineup, it’s best to understand what it’s meant for and how it can help you. Skincare is not a one size fits all and not all products are meant to be used in your personal routine. But let’s dive into the popular Vitamin C and see if it’s right for you.

How do you use Vitamin C in your daily routine?

Vitamin C is best used in your morning skincare routine to achieve its maximum benefits. It comes in a serum form and can be applied and left on your skin all day. Apply about 4 drops onto your face and evenly rub it into your skin, avoiding the eye area. Here’s a great way to incorporate it into your daily routine:

  • Rinse your face with warm water and a clean washcloth
  • Toner
  • Vitamin C serum
  • Eye cream
  • Moisturizer

What skin type is Vitamin C good for?

Vitamin C is great for any skin type. If you have sensitive skin, it’s always best to do a patch test to make sure your skin can handle the product. And since it is a strong ingredient, it’s best to ease into using it. Start by using it once a week and build up to using it daily. If your skin is reacting badly to using it daily, then use it every other day. Skincare is a bit of trial and error to see what is best for your skin.

What is the best Vitamin C to use?

There are a lot of good Vitamin C products on the market but there are only a few GREAT ones! This is the Vitamin C serum I love and use and recommend to all of my clients. I love it because it contains bioactive ingredients and no fillers or preservatives. This serum isn’t watered down like most other skincare products on the market, making it more effective and potent. It’s combined with the powerful ingredient of hydroxytyrosol which is a dynamite duo for your skin! Read about the benefits of hydroxytyrosol!
