You may be in your 40s or well past your 40s and you think it’s a lost cause to age gracefully. But I’m here to tell you that it’s never too late to change! If you had subpar skincare habits in your 20s and 30s, you can still learn better habits in your 40s to help you age gracefully. Those fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots, and dark circles can be helped by upgrading your skincare routine. Let’s learn how!
Best Products to Help with Dry and Dull Skin
Did you know that having dry and dull skin will age you faster than anything else? Dehydrated skin enhances your fine lines and wrinkles. It makes you look much older than you are! So how can you get that healthy hydrated glow back?? Invest in good moisturizing products that will plump, hydrate, and nourish the skin.
Here are some great options to help revive dry and dull skin:
- Hyaluronic acid– This is a hydrating hero! It can bind up to 1000 times its weight in moisture. It delivers plumping and moisture to the skin giving it a healthy glow!
- Love Duo– This serum and oil duo is perfect for dry and dull skin! The serum tightens, repairs, and regenerates dehydrated skin and the oil helps the skin feel soft, supple, and radiant. When you combine these two together, they make magic on the skin!
- Cream moisturizer– A good quality cream moisturizer will lock in the moisture, strengthen your skin, and reduce the signs of aging.
Best Products to Help Fine Lines and Wrinkles
We all have them…fine lines and wrinkles. It’s a natural part of aging. They creep up on us because of genetics, lack of hydration, sun exposure, our expressions, and lifestyle habits. And it’s normal! But, there are ways to help reduce our fine lines and wrinkles and to help us look more youthful as we age.
All of the products mentioned in this post will help reduce the signs of aging, but here are some products that can help specifically reduce those pesky wrinkles:
- F59 Corrective Face Serum– This serum is great for wrinkles! It contains para cress which gives a lifting effect, helps reduce pores, and helps smooth the skin. Use it daily and notice softening of your wrinkles over time.
- LA Dope 002 Finer Pore Dope Elixir– This serum is similar to the F59 but it also contains hemp. So it’s perfect for sensitive skin!
Those serums work great on their own, but when you combine a serum with a natural retinol, fireworks happen! Here are my personal favorite combos to combat fine lines and wrinkles:
- F59 Corrective Face Serum & F87 Corrective Kahai Elixir
- LA Dope 002 Finer Pore Dope Elixir & LA Dope 004 Dope Your Wrinkles Face Oil Serum

Best Products to Help with Hyperpigmentation
Whether you have age spots, sun spots, melasma, freckles, or any type of hyperpigmentation, there is hope! There are products that can help brighten your skin and help it look healthier and glowier.
Here are some skincare products that are fabulous for hyperpigmentation:
- F87 CORRECTIVE KAHAI ELIXIR is great for all skin types and is known for giving the skin luminosity, finer pores, hydration, elasticity, firmness, and anti-pigmentation. Contains 3.8% Kahai Oil and contains the highest amount of retinol out of these products. (This is my personal favorite retinol!)
- F82 GREEN RETINOL FACE ELIXIR combines Hydroxytyrosol with Green Retinol (Bakuchiol = alternative retinol) and Vitamin A rich Kahai Oil. The Bakuchiol remedies fine lines and reduces the appearance of pores, while the Hydroytyrosol, together with the Kahai Oil, minimizes redness, counteracts pigmentation and protects against oxidative damage. Bakuchiol also stimulates collagen formation, actively counteracting skin aging. It contains 2.5% Bakuchiol + 1% Kahai Oil and is the gentlest form of retinol out of these options. (This option is best for sensitive skin.)
- F65 CORRECTIVE MIDNIGHT ELIXIR is combines retinol (fish sourced), arbequina and kahai oil with the patented “hyaluron in oil complex” and the regenerating super olive tree antioxidant hydroxytyrosol. This regenerates and tightens the skin overnight, reduces wrinkles and enhances the luminosity of the skin while you sleep. Apply this retinol at night only because it is photosensitive. This contains 2% retinol from fish liver + hyaluron + 2.5% Kahai Oil.
- F81 AHA + HT Serum Face This is a chemical exfoiliator and it has glycolic acid & lactic acid to help exfoliate the skin’s surface and help promote cell turnover. This is a chemical exfoliant that helps dissolve and loosen the bonds between dead skin cells and oils to help you achieve radiant and smooth skin.
- F83 HT + Vitamin C Serum has 1300% increased antioxidant power to simple vitamin C. Not only does it neutralize free radicals on the upper layer of the skin to prevent the effects of ozone damage on the skin but it also helps brighten the skin, reducing the signs of hyperpigmentation.
But how do you use these products? Let me break it down for you:
- Vitamin C- After rinsing your face in the morning and applying toner, apply about 4 drops of the Vitamin C serum onto your face. Rub it in evenly to your skin and let it soak and absorb into your skin for a good 5-10 minutes. Then you can proceed with your eye cream and moisturizer.
- Retinol- This is best applied at night. After cleansing and toning, you can apply 3-4 drops of retinol to your face alone or add it to your serum. Evenly rub it into your skin and follow up with your eye cream and moisturizer. Start by using this once a week and build it up using it more often. Every other day is great.
- AHA Chemical Exfoliator- This is an amazing product but too much of it can really wreck your skin barrier. Only use it once a week at first and build up to using it 1-3 times a week. This is a serum so you apply it after cleansing and toning your face. Apply about 4 drops on your face and evenly rub it into your skin. Follow up with your eye cream and moisturizer. It’s best to use this at night, on the days you do not use retinol.

Best Products to Help with Under Eyes
Have you ever bought an eye cream, eye patches, or eye serum hoping that it will be the miracle to your dark circles, wrinkles, and puffiness? And then it’s not?? It’s happened to me again and again. I can’t even count how much money I’ve spent on pointless products. But then I learned that most skincare products contain 70-90% water. That means that the products we’re buying are literally watered down and thus not as effective.
Here are my top eye products that actually work! They nourish and hydrate the eye area! They consist of 70% olive leaf elixir which is a potent and powerful ingredient that will actually help you see results. They will help diminish dark circles, smooth fine lines & wrinkles, and lift the eye. Because they are waterless skincare, the ingredients are more potent and powerful and truly anti-aging.
- F09 Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream– Crow’s feet are gently smoothed away, and puffiness under the eyes effectively reduced. Hydroxytyrosol and oleuropein act as true shields against harmful external influences allowing the eyes to appears more alert, awake, and refreshed. Perfect for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
- F60 Corrective Eye Cream– This power combination has a highly positive impact on the collagen net as well as a smoothing effect on eye wrinkles and a reducing effect on under-eye shadows and discolorations. Premature skin aging can be prevented.
- F64 Corrective Eye Elixir– The active ingredient complex enhances the natural activity of the cells which gives your eye area a more lifted and radiant look. Also, the fine skin around the eyes is being strengthened and smoothed in a gentle way which makes it perfect for challenging and sensitive skin. The eye area looks rejuvenated, lifted and beautiful.
- 007 Lifting Up Eye Elixir– This exclusive “lifting up eye” complex promotes the natural activity of the cells and gives the area around the eyes a firmer and more radiant appearance. The “lifting up eye” complex strengthens and smooths the fine skin around the eyes and is particularly suitable for demanding, sensitive, and fine skin.
- 008 Shining Dope Eye Cream– This smooths and reduces eye wrinkles within a very short time, reduces the appearance of dark circles and discoloration, and counteracts premature skin aging.
Things to Avoid for Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Along with using quality skincare products, there are some other ways that you can avoid fine lines and wrinkles as you age:
- Frownies Facial Patches– Apply these at night after doing your skincare routine. They attach to your face like a plaster cast and help reduce wrinkles while you sleep. The key is being consistent!
- Gua Sha- The ancient traditional Chinese skincare practice of Gua Sha uses a tool to massage your face. Doing Gua Sha exercises consistently can help reduce the signs of aging. Learn more about Gua Sha and how to incorporate it into your skincare routine.
- Red light therapy- Using a red light device like a mask or wand can help reduce wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Learn more about red light therapy and which one is best to invest in.
- Sleep with silk pillowcases- Using a silk pillowcase can help prevent wrinkles on your face when you sleep on your side or stomach. It’s also great for your hair!
- Drink water- Staying hydrated by drinking a lot of water can be so good for your skin! And especially opting for water over sugary drinks will benefit your skin.
- Avoid drinking from a straw- When you suck from a straw, the muscles around your lips purse and wrinkle. Over time, this can increase your wrinkles.
- Don’t vape or smoke- Vaping and smoking is terrible for your skin! If you want to age gracefully, then stay away from harmful drugs that won’t just affect your skin but your entire body.
Don’t give up if you think all hope is lost! It’s never too late to change. It’s never too late to learn something new. It’s never too late to start new habits. Investing in great skincare products and being consistent will help you age more gracefully so you look and feel great. When you feel good, you do good.
