A Guide to Dry Brushing

How do you dry brush your body? You can dry brush at any time of day, but I find that if I dry brush before I shower, it works best. This allows the dead skin to be washed away and then you can moisturize your skin after it’s cleaned. Here are the simple steps you can add into your skincare routine:

  • Start by removing your clothes and getting your brush specifically made for dry brushing.
  • On dry skin, use short strokes with light pressure starting at your feet and moving up and around your leg. Always brush towards your heart. Work your way upwards.
  • When you get to your abdomen, avoid your nipples and other sensitive areas. Make short strokes towards your heart, all around your stomach and back.
  • When you get to your arms, start at your hands and work towards your arm pits.
  • When you get to your neck, make small strokes down towards your heart.
  • Once you have worked your way around your entire body, shower as usual. Use a soothing and healing body wash.
  • Dry off your body.
  • Finish the routine by using a body serum and body cream to fully moisturize your body.

Doing this routine regularly will help you have glowing skin from head to toe! You will love how your skin looks and feels!
