What is Illuminator?
Illuminator is a shimmery cream that you apply to areas of your face to add a nice glow. Maskcara currently offers three different illuminator shades: Pearl, Honey, and Rose Gold. These beautiful colors blend nicely into your skin to add a youthful glow and brightening effect.

According to the Maskcara Beauty website, illuminator “gives the face a candlelit dewiness and perfects your complexion.” Now, doesn’t that just sound wonderful?! What woman wouldn’t want to perfect her complexion and add some candlelit glow??! Our faces are meant to be 3D, but lots of makeup out there gives a flat finish and hides a woman’s natural beauty. But this makeup, this makeup…does not! It helps enhance a woman’s natural loveliness. It shades and highlights, defines and glows.

How to Apply Illuminator
Applying illuminator is so easy! Seriously…you can’t mess up. You simply take your finger or a brush and swipe it onto the surface of your illuminator. Then you rub the color onto the tops of your cheekbones, on the bow of your lip (right in the top middle part where the skin and lip color meet), and right under your brow on the brow bone. The color blends in smoothly to your skin color without making it look like you’re wearing too much makeup. These places will shimmer and glow when the light hits them. The dewiness adds such a feminine effect.
