How to Get the Look

After you’ve got your eyeshadow colors (Rome, Mama, On Wednesdays, and Oak), follow these steps:

• Take the fluffy end of your Eyeshadow Brush and brush Mama over your entire eyelid for a nice natural base layer.
• Then take On Wednesdays and wipe the color in the entire crease of your lid with a windshield wiping motion. Wipe it back and forth, making sure to blend well.
• With the smaller end of your brush, take Oak and create a V shape in the outer edge of your lid. You can flip over your brush and use the fluffy end to blend.
• Top the look off by applying Rome on the brow bone area and inner corner of your lid.

I’ve been using Maskcara Beauty products since day one of its existence! I love the makeup, skin care, compacts, and brushes and use them all daily!  But why Maskcara? Why do I love the Maskcara products and business so much?? I’ll tell you!

THE MAKEUP

Why Maskcara? What’s so different about this makeup? Maskcara makeup is a cream-based foundation. It’s designed to bring dimension to your face. It’s meant to chisel those cheekbones, add shadow and shape, and bring out your beautiful features. Normal makeup just covers up your face with one flat color. Maskcara 3D foundation brings life to your beautiful face!

The foundation and eyeshadows are top notch and come in a variety of colors that any woman, no matter her skin color, will look great in! But the best thing about this makeup is that it is completely customizable! This is my favorite! Gone are the days of buying an eyeshadow palette only to use one or two colors and then toss the rest. You can build your own compact and create exactly what foundation, contour, blush, illuminator, bronzer, powder, and eyeshadow colors you want. And then when you’ve run out of a shade, you just replace that one! You waste so much less! It’s THE BEST!!

I’m a huge traveler. Our family traveled to 17 countries in one year alone! I love that Maskcara makeup is TSA approved! I can tote my makeup in my carryon with no problems. I don’t have to worry about it getting lost and I can always have it on me. And I don’t have to worry it spilling and making a mess! I can put all of my makeup colors I need in one compact…I save so much space!

The makeup is so easy, fast, and convenient to use. You can get full coverage or light coverage, depending on what look you want.

THE TOOLS

Not only is the makeup top notch, but the tools are too! All the makeup brushes are double ended and are so versatile! You can use each brush in multiple ways. I’ve had my makeup brushes for years and they’re still going strong! And all the brushes are very affordable!

The compacts are also awesome! They come in a variety of sizes and can hold whatever amount of makeup you need. Each compact is magnetic, so you just slide in your makeup single and move around and replace as needed. And they each have a mirror so you can do your makeup on the go.

THE SKIN CARE

Maskcara also has a cleanser, toner, crème, and masque that is superb! I love using products that have minimal and natural ingredients. Their Milk line is very gentle and nourishing for the skin. My skin is extra happy when I use it.

THE BUSINESS

Even if I wasn’t a Maskcara Artist, I would still use the makeup! I love it that much! But, I am a Maskcara Artist. Everyone has their reasons why they love the products and business. I love the Maskcara business because:

I have a team of a diverse group of women from all ages, stages, and walks of life. We all lift each other up, encourage, and motivate. Our team is positive and respectful. Some of us run our business from online, run it in person, and some do a bit of both. The beauty of being a Maskcara Artist is that you get to create a business around your strengths, around what works for you, and how you want to do it.

MY WHY MASKCARA

Those are just some reasons why I love the business. But, the main reason I’m a Maskcara Artist is because my husband and I want to become financially independent and retire in 10 years. Being a Maskcara Artist helps me contribute to our goal! We’re able to save all my money towards retirement. We want to be able to say adios to my husband’s job much earlier than average, so we have the flexibility to serve our church, community, and areas around the world. Cost

I’m sure one of the main questions you have is the cost. You have 2 choices when becoming a Maskcara Artist: you can purchase the Basic Kit for $199 or the Pro Kit for $399. If you are located in Canada, the Basic Kit is your only option. The difference between the two is you just get more with the Pro Kit. You can read more about the kits HERE. The kit is a random selection of highlight, contour, lip & cheek, and illuminators colors, as well as a few essential brushes.

Another cost with being a Maskcara Artist is the monthly fee of $11.95. This fee covers your customer shipping fulfillment, customer service, and your back office fee for hosting a personal website for your customers to purchase from.

Training

A question I get asked a lot too is what about training?? You might have a lot of makeup experience, you might just love doing your own makeup, or you might not have any experience at all! And that’s ok! As long as you have a passion and will to learn, you have the potential to do great!

As far as training goes, our team has a team Facebook page where we do Lives several times a month to stay connected, teach, and motivate.  We have a team Voxer chat where we make announcements, help with troubleshooting, and stay in touch. We do a monthly Zoom call where we go over our goals for the month and plan. We also have a monthly newsletter to keep everyone in the loop and we also share resources there that you can use. We have a team webpage with resources and tools to help you on your Maskcara journey. We’re here to help you fly, not fall!

Maskcara corporate also provides training for their Maskcara Artists. We have a special website that has trainings and resources for our use. There is also a large Maskcara Artist Facebook page where there are a ton of resources, information, examples, and help. Cara does trainings monthly in the Facebook group too!

Have you heard the word?? Maskcara is available in Canada! As of March 25, 2019, women can now purchase Maskcara products or become an Independent Maskcara Artist! We’re showing you how to become a Maskcara Artist in Canada so you can join in on this amazing business opportunity!

How Much Does it Cost to Become a Maskcara Artist?

The only kit available for purchase in Canada is the Basic Kit. The cost of that kit is $279, plus $16.95 for shipping. Also, every Maskcara Artist must pay a monthly Back-Office fee that allows you to have your own website where customers can purchase from directly. This is so convenient for you and for the customer. You don’t have to collect stock of the product, ship any product, or do the customer service….it’s awesome! The monthly cost of that fee is $14.95.

Questions About Becoming a Maskcara Artist:

Can you join a team that is based in the USA? Yes! It doesn’t matter where your upline lives or where you live. As long as either one of you lives in the USA or Canada, you can have cross-border teams and customers. 

Do you need a special license to sell in Canada? Yes. Maskcara Artists residing in Canada must obtain a special license to do direct sales in Canada. This must be paid by the artist.

Is Maskcara available in Quebec? Unfortunately, not at this time. 

Who can you sell to? You can sell Maskcara products to anyone that lives in the USA or Canada.

What are shipping costs? Shipping costs on all orders under $99 are $3.95. Orders over $100 receive shipping for free! 

How do returns work? You will have 30 days to return or exchange any product you aren’t satisfied with. You just have to pay for return shipping.

How does customer service work? If your personal Maskcara Artists can’t help you with one of your questions (that’s us!), then you can contact Maskcara Customer Service HERE to get help. 

Can you order from a Maskcara Artist that works in the US? Yes! It doesn’t matter that you are a customer in Canada and are working with an Artist that lives in the states. Cross-border customers are welcome! Just make sure that you have the Canadian flag displayed on your shopping page when you’re checking out. All price adjustments will automatically be applied.

What to Buy

Maskcara Artist Kit: Your Questions Answered

Have you been thinking about doing something for yourself? Doing something that will earn you some extra money, whether it’s a side hustle or a full-time gig? First Step

Once you’ve decided to join the Maskcara crew, you need to pick a team! Signing up under another artist will give you the support, training, and encouragement that you need to help build your brand. After you find someone to sign up under, you need to pick your kit. You have 2 options: a Basic Kit of a Pro Kit. We’ll tell you all about each one so you know what will work best for you!

Basic Kit

The Basic Kit is $199. It is a retail value of $500! In this kit, you will get:

Which kit should you get?

This is totally up to you, your budget, and your business goals. If you have a limited budget, then it’s best to get the Basic Kit and get right to work! If you set up a party right away in your back office, you can start earning rewards to get product for free. Don’t know what we mean? No worries! Our team provides training on all of this to walk you through the process.

If you are in it to win it and want to really make this work, then we suggest the Pro Kit. It’s so great to have as much of the product at first so you can start practicing on women. Women come in all different beautiful shades and it’s important to have the right products to help them feel beautiful.

Why do you need a kit?

You need to buy a kit so you have the highlights, contours, lip & cheek colors, and illuminators to share with your friends and family. People love seeing things in person. So, having a kit with some of the popular shades and products will help you become familiar with the products as well as try them out on your customers.

How long does it take to get your kit?

It usually takes 5-10 business days to receive your kit. You will be checking your doorstep daily once you click purchase!

What should you do once you get your kit?

Once your kit is delivered, have fun! Do a Live on Facebook of you opening it up. Announce to your friends and family what your new business venture is so they can support you. And practice! Ask your friends and family to let you borrow their faces so you can get comfortable with the products and makeup techniques.

Why do you need marketing tools?

Your kit includes catalogs, brochures, and post cards to help you educate your customers. These can be used at in-home parties, events, or one on one makeovers. They’re a great tool to help share what you love!
