How to Make a Simple DIY Deodorant

I don’t know about you, but I like to smell good. But I don’t like using antiperspirants because they contain aluminum. And aluminum is not good for you. But, I’ve also found that just plain deodorants that you can buy in the store just don’t cut it for me. I have yet to find one that doesn’t leave me still smelling fresh at the end of the day! Then I started making my own deodorant and it was a game changer! Here is how to make a simple DIY Deodorant that you can whip to together with ingredients from your kitchen:
3 Tbsp. melted coconut oil
2 Tbsp. baking soda
5-10 drops essential oil (Purify, tea tree)
Simply combine the ingredients in a small container and mix to form a paste. The coconut oil will remain a liquid in warm temperatures and a solid in cold temperatures. You just use your fingers to apply under your arms. It can be a bit messy, but at least you’ll be smelling fresh and clean all day long! It’s a simple way to stay healthy and clean =)
