But when you wear contour, your face looks alive! But contouring doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s not just for the makeup artists, actresses, and models. It’s for the average everyday woman! Here is a contour guide for knowing how to contour for your face shape. They are simple steps that will make a big impact in your makeup routine!

How to Contour Oval Face

When contouring for an oval face shape, trick the eye into thinking your face is shorter instead of long. Contour on the cheekbone and just below. Also apply contour along your hairline and sides of your nose.  

How to Contour Round Face

When contouring a round face shape, add contour along your cheekbone and along your jawline. This will help slim your face and trick the eye. Don’t forget the nose! Contour along the sides of your nose to slim it as well. Add a little contour along your hairline too.

Add shape to your rectangular face by contouring along your cheekbone and curving it under your cheek to create lift. Add contour along your hairline and down your forehead to shorten it a bit. Also add contour along the sides of your nose.
